NFL Week 3 gave us exactly the sort of Sunday that makes trying to understand this league feel increasingly pointless. The Cowboys somehow found a way to lose to the Ravens with seven seconds remaining in Brazil, the Broncos erased a 16-point halftime deficit against the Rams in a controversial Sunday night comeback, and the defending champion Seahawks piled up nearly 440 yards of offense only to lose to the Commanders. We break down all three, including Dallas’ baffling late-game decisions and whether there is actually anything to worry about with the Rams or Seahawks.
Then we get into everything else from a ridiculous Week 3. The Bills turned the ball over five times and still beat the Chargers, the Raiders moved to a completely unexpected 3-0, Minnesota’s defense carried the Vikings again, and Jacksonville sent the Patriots further into an early-season crisis. We also get into the Texans falling to 0-3 against Indianapolis before speeding through Chiefs-Dolphins, Lions-Jets, Browns-Panthers, 49ers-Cardinals, Steelers-Bengals, Giants-Titans and the Falcons’ Thursday night win over Green Bay.
