D Poll: Week 9 (2024)
Ranking the top 25 in college football, one wacky result at a time.
This past week of college football was kind of a dud. It promised to be one of the best weeks of the season so far, but it instead fell flat on its face. A good majority of the games that had the potential to be something special didn't deliver, which was unfortunate. Nevertheless, there's always some good college football on somewhere even if the "big games" aren't living up to the billing, all you have to do is find it.
I've been doing this D Poll for three weeks now, and this version might be the spiciest one yet. There's a lot of controversy baked in here, but no matter what you think about this ranking, I stand by my decisions. Please direct your complaints to Toby, who is my cat and also my personal assistant. Just remember that the D Poll is all about winning. It's the most important data point that the poll values. Everything else is just icing on the cake.
Due to an extremely busy week, this D Poll is just a ranking. All 25 teams are ranked, but there won't be any analysis, and for that, I apologize. I promise next week will be different!
