The Rangers lost 4-3 on a two-run walk-off ground ball to second base last night against the Tampa Bay Rays.

What were they doing? Were there any thoughts in any of their heads? Were they all just thinking of Krabby Patties?
Seriously, though, some of the mistakes that they’ve been making over the last several weeks have been fairly amateur. They’re mistakes a coach pitch team would get yelled at for making. Like, I don’t know, can somebody please cover first base?
The Texas Rangers are a bad baseball team. The glimmer of hope that I thought I saw over the weekend was not even a spark. Their 29-34 record is honestly a pretty generous picture of their abilities. If not for some lucky one-run wins thanks to some pretty awesome pitching early in the season, that figure is probably a lot worse.
I’m sad.
For the betterment of my mental stability, this will be my final post regarding the Texas Rangers for two weeks. In 14 days time, I’ll come back to you with an update on where they are. At this current moment, they are bad. In two weeks, I expect much of the same.
