Welcome back to the Weekend Watchlist, where the idea is to take several dozen football games spread across four days and somehow pretend there is a reasonable way to watch all of them. There isn’t, obviously, but this weekend makes a particularly convincing case for trying.
The rules of the Weekend Watchlist are simple: I’ll tell you what deserves the main screen, what belongs on the second and where you should be flipping when things start to grab your attention. This is not every football game happening this weekend, but instead a curated list of what I believe to be the most important.
Let’s watch some football.
