Welcome to The Football Corner!

Every football season deserves to be remembered.

The Football Corner is an independent football media platform dedicated to documenting, discussing and celebrating football in all its forms.

That means college football. The NFL. The Premier League and the rest of the soccer world. Saturday mornings spent watching games in England while College GameDay takes over the second screen, followed by an entire afternoon of chaotic college football and then waking up the next morning to do it all over again with the NFL.

If that sounds like a pretty good weekend to you, welcome to The Football Corner.

What’s the deal?

Football has always been my favorite storytelling machine.

Every season gives us something completely different. From Leicester City’s shocking 2015-16 Premier League title, to the Indiana Hoosiers’ miraculous conquering of the college football world, there’s always something fun behind every footballing corner.

But there’s so much to keep track of. Championships are won, coaches are fired, clubs are promoted and relegated, and every once in a while something happens that we know we’ll still be talking about 20 years from now.

The Football Corner is my attempt to keep track of it all.

This isn’t supposed to be a place where I cover ever single thing that happens across the football world. That would be impossible, and I — and probably you as well — would lose my mind trying. Instead, I desire to find the games, people and stories that make each season worth remembering and spend some time actually talking about them.

Basically, I love football. I assume you do, too. Let’s talk about it.
