Good pitching beats good hitting as a general rule. If asked would we rather be 8-3 because of our pitching or hitting, we would say pitching every time. Also, I would rather be worried about when Corey and Marcus figure it out versus Jack, Kumar or Tyler figuring it out. But you can only win so many 1-0 games. The rotation needs some low stress wins. Jung is going to be active but he is going to replace the one ranger who is hitting. Do we DH one of the Joshs?
I'd imagine Josh Smith will rotate around the field depending on where there's a need for a day off. He's at first tonight, could be at short tomorrow, and so forth. I also don't hate the idea of moving Langford to center and putting Smith in left full time, especially if Taveras continues to struggle at the plate.
